The Story of Cthulhu
Cthulhu is a fictional creature created by the American writer Howard Phillips Lovecraft.

He is a semi-divine being of prodigious proportions and strength who resides in the lost sunken city of R'lyeh, near Ponape (now Pohnpei, Micronesia) in the ruins of Nam Madol, in a death sleep. waiting for a favorable astral conjunction that allows you to wake up.

In the stories of the so-called Cthulhu Cycle, also known as Cthulhu Mythos, the author and his followers defined him as a blasphemous deity, worshiped by degenerate, savage and mad populations, connected to the beginning of nightmares and whose cult predicts heinous human sacrifices. Cthulhu first appears in the tale titled The Call of Cthulhu (1928).
